Introduction: Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN2) is caused by germline pathogenic variants (PVs) in the RET proto-oncogene, leading to medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), pheochromocytoma, and primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT). RET c.1998G>C, p.Lys666Asn is a rare PV, with 33 cases described thus far, and is associated with low penetrance of MEN2-related tumours, but its clinical significance remains incompletely understood.

Introduction: NEN is a type of rare neoplasm originated from peptidenergic neurons and neuroendocrine cells. Even for functional neuroendocrine tumors, the hormones secreted can be temporally and spatially heterogeneous. Hypercalcemia being a rare clinical manifestation of F-pNEN.

Introduction: Based on a large-scale epidemiological survey with a total of 2010 cases of neuroendocrine tumors (NENs) in the Chinese population from multiple centers, we observed that the malignancy of gastric NENs (G3, accounting for 67.2%) is higher than that of pancreatic NENs(G3, accounting for 9.9%).
