#3040 Palliative CT Brachytherapy in Hepatic Metastatic NET
Introduction: Hepatic metastases of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) may induce prognosis relevant complications in an otherwise stable systemic disease after resection of the primary.

Introduction: Patients with SINET often have diffuse symptoms delaying diagnosis. In a patient survey it was observed that 1/3 of NET patients had a time span to diagnosis of > 5 years, with a median of 52 months. Here we assess the patients’ experience during that time period.

#2765 Role of Biomarkers in Disease Progression of NET
Introduction: Due to the non specific features of neuroendocrine tumors and lack of diagnostic biomarkers, the diagnosis is usually delayed and almost half of patients presenting with distant metastases
Conference: 17th Annual ENETSConcerence (2020)

Introduction: Because of the low incidence, nonspecific symptoms at presentation, lack of awareness, and non-uniform classifications, gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) remains a poorly understood disease, and delayed diagnosis is common among patients with GEP-NETs.
