#3997 FOXA2-initiated transcriptional activation of INHBA induced by methylmalonic acid promotes pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm progression

Introduction: More than 60% of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PanNENs) represent metastases when diagnosed. Metabolic alterations have been recognized as one of the hallmarks of tumor metastasis. However, little is known about the molecular mechanism of metabolic changes regulating PanNEN progression.

#3767 Metabolic alterations in patients with pheochromocytoma/paragangliomas and SDHB mutations

Introduction: Pheochromocytoma/paragangliomas (PPGL) patients with SDHB mutation may have unfavourable course of disease. SDHB gene inactivation results in up-regulation of glycolytic reaction and activation of pseudo-hypoxic phenotype in preclinical studies.

Introduction: Everolimus (E) is an mTOR inhibitor with promising antitumor activity in patients with NETs. Predictor factors of response could improve the clinical use of this compound.
