#3748 Association of MINEN with GIST on neurofibromatosis – A case report
Introduction: Although most digestive neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are sporadic, around 5% of NETs occur in a context of hereditary predisposition, mainly type 1 multiple endocrine neoplasia (NEM1) and Von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL).

#3526 Neurofibromatosis type 1 in combination with Pheochromocytoma (clinical case)
Introduction: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1) is a rare disease with characteristic pathological changes of the skin and nervous system, often in combination with abnormalities of other organs and systems. Endocrine neoplasms such as pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma, gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, thyroid tumors, and adrenal tumors, can also be rarely associated with NF-1.

Introduction: Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) is a rare inherited disorder associated with cutaneous lesions and neoplasms in the nervous and gastroenteropancreatic systems, including periampullary NETs. NF1-coded protein, neurofibromin, is a tumor suppressor that negatively regulates the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). Preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated a constitutive activation of mTOR pathway associated with significant antineoplastic effects of mTOR inhibitors in NF1-related glial tumor models.
