#4156 Status of the ongoing SORENTO clinical trial: Assessing efficacy and safety of high-exposure octreotide subcutaneous depot in patients with GEP-NET

Introduction: Somatostatin receptor ligands (SRLs) are first-line standard of care therapies for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET). Retrospective data suggest higher-dose SRLs may benefit patients with GEP-NET.

#4116 A review of the Scottish national Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) service with focus on patients with small bowel neuroendocrine tumors (SBNET) treated between April 2019 and March 2021

Introduction: Scottish National PRRT Service delivers 177Lu-Dotatate nationally at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC). The NETTER-1 trial (Strosberg et al 2017) significantly changed the treatment and management of patients with gastroenteropancreatic NET (GEPNET). 177Lu-Dotatate demonstrated superiority in progression free survival (PFS) in patients with G1 and 2 midgut neuroendocrine tumors (NET). 177Lu-Dotatate 7.4 GBq 8 weekly gave 65% estimated progression free survival (PFS)at 20 months versus 10.8 % with 60mg octreotide intramuscularly 4 weekly (Strosberg et al 2017). Prior to this study everolimus was the most common 2nd line treatment for SBNET with a PFS of 14 months (Puscuddo et al 2017).

#4114 Delays in the dosing administration of PRRT in advanced neuroendocrine tumors – Is there an adverse impact?

Introduction: Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) has emerged as a major therapeutic component in the overall management of advanced neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). In Greece, the treatment has been performed for several years, however because of reimbursement issues, especially during the financial crisis in Greece, there is usually a delay between the administered doses beyond the recommended 6-8 weeks interval.

#4090 Octreotide infusion pump in patients with functional neuroendocrine tumors and refractory hormonal syndromes

Introduction: In patients with metastatic functional neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), symptoms are, sometimes, not adequately controlled with long-acting somatostatin analogues (LASSAs), so patients need to use boost subcutaneous (sc) octreotide injections (inj) daily. However, this approach is not always effective and convenient for the patients.

#4068 YAP-1 as prognostic marker for immunochemotherapy response in SCLC patients

Introduction: Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) represents about 15% of all lung cancers and is an exceptionally lethal malignancy for which more effective therapies are urgently needed. Previous studies have classified SCLC patients by RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) clustering analysis to identify who could benefit from immune checkpoint blockades.
