Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNETs) are classified into grades (G1-G3) based on mitotic rate, with higher grades exhibiting increased dedifferentiation and invasiveness. Despite the clinical significance of PanNETs progression, the underlying mechanisms remain largely unexplored. We have previously reported that altered alternative splicing plays an essential role in PanNETs progression, where SNW1, a key regulator of splicing and transcription, was found to be overexpressed in tumour tissue, correlating with higher grade and recurrence risk.

Introduction: Type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumours (g-NETs) have a high recurrence risk after endoscopic resection, underscoring the need for regular endoscopic follow-up. Our research hints that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) could help lower recurrence rates.

#3745 Prediction of disease recurrence in patients after complete PanNET G2 resection
Introduction: The number of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) detected has been increasing over the past decade. Surgical resection is the only potentially curative treatment for PanNETs, but the risk factors for recurrence are not fully understood, which is of clinical value especially for G2 PanNETs due to their high heterogeneity.
