Introduction: LuTate therapy is an effective treatment for patients with somatostatin receptor expressing NEN. However, patients (pts) with functional tumours may develop an acute flare of symptoms during or after PRRT.

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET) are rare neoplasia with unclear risk factor influencing their development and survival. Statins appear to enhance antiproliferative effect of some chemotherapies in other cancers, but their effect in GEP-NET treated with somatostatin analogues (SSA) are largely unknown.

Introduction: Small intestine neuroendocrine tumours (SiNETs) are rare neoplasms in which the identification of new risk factors is essential. Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a cluster of risk factors that lead to increased mortality, especially by cardiovascular (CV) causes. MetS diagnosis is obtained with International Diabetes Federation (IDF) 2005 criteria.
