#4297 Small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasm – A very intriguing case

Introduction: Functional neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) frequently result in a range of severe and unpleasant symptoms and can also result in life threatening illness. This case report will detail the complex history of a patient with metastatic small bowel tumour diagnosed in 2015 with current stable disease treated at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

#4217 Prediction of recurrence for grade 1-2 small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms after curative-intended resection

Introduction: In patients with grade 1 to 2 small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms (SB-NEN) reccurrence rates are reported up to 50%. No prediction tools exist yet to identify patients at high-risk for recurrence in SB-NENs.

#3719 Outcomes of surgical treatment for small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms – The first preliminary results of the international study group for small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasm surgery registry

Introduction: Evidence for surgical treatment of small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms (SB-NEN) often originates from single center studies. This is the first project of international study group for small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasm surgery, aiming to build and an observational registry to facilitate future research projects and randomized clinical trials.

#3102 Fluorescence angiography guided resection of small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms with mesenteric lymph node metastases

Introduction: Surgery for small bowel neuroendocrine neoplasms (SB-NEN) might result in vascular compromise of the remaining bowel due to resection of lymph node metastases in close proximity to main mesenteric vessels. Fluorescence angiography (FA) has been described as a safe technique to assess perfusion during gastro-intestinal surgery.
