Although a few studies have explored treatment approaches and oncological outcomes, most focus on surgical cohorts, small sample sizes, or mixed groups including TC, AC, and NECs. Real-life cohort data are lacking.

Introduction: At diagnosis, over 50% of small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours (SI-NETs) have metastasised to the mesentery where they often induce extensive fibrosis. Recent studies highlight the crucial interaction between SI-NET cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in the pathogenesis of mesenteric fibrosis (MF).

Introduction: Benign insulinomas are the main cause of endogenous hyperinsulinemic hypoglycaemia (EHH) in adults, with surgery as the only cure. Pancreas-preserving procedures are preferred, making precise localisation crucial. Recent studies indicate that GLP-1R imaging, such as [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-exendin-4 (68Ga-Ex4) PET/CT, outperforms conventional imaging in identifying insulinomas.
