#4239 Implementation of a new, nurse-led clinic (NLC) for neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients

Introduction: There is international evidence supporting nurse-led services for people with chronic diseases in reducing hospitalisations, symptom improvement and lifestyle, and patient satisfaction. Patients with NET often have high symptoms burden and psychosocial distress in the context of indolent disease. Our centre recently implemented a (NLC) to provide complex care support for patients with NET.

#849 Patient-Reported Symptom Experiences Following Participation in a Study of Telotristat Etiprate for Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors and Diarrhea Not Adequately Controlled on Octreotide

Introduction: Telotristat etiprate (LX1606), an oral tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) inhibitor, was recently evaluated in a dose-escalation (DE) study in patients (pts) with carcinoid tumors and diarrhea not adequately controlled on octreotide.
