#4355 Emergence of DNA damage repair clonal haematopoiesis after peptide receptor radionuclide therapy for neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: In neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), PRRT (Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy), has shown efficacy but with significant hematologic toxicity. Clonal haematopoiesis (CHIP) is considered a risk factor for therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MN).

#3827 Prevalence of Clonal Hematopoiesis (CH) in neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients prior to Lutetium 177 dotatate therapy (Lu177) and the risk of cytopenia – A prospective study of 37 patients

Introduction: Lu177 has shown efficacy in advanced NET but with significant hematologic toxicity, including therapy-related myeloid neoplasm (t-MN). CH is defined by acquisition of somatic mutations in hematopoietic stem cells with potential for expansion over time.

#3176 Tissue sample collection from patients with neuroendocrine tumor (NET) treated with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) for future blood disease research

Introduction: Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is an effective treatment for patients with metastatic NET. However, the development of therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MN) is an infrequent but serious complication. T-MN after PRRT occurs at higher frequency compared to other solid tumor chemotherapies and harbour unfavourable genetic mutations with poor treatment outcomes. Prospective data is needed to explore pre-existing genetic factors and predictive biomarkers to minimise t-MN risk.
