#4006 Efficacy, safety and prognostic factors of Capecitabine plus Temozolomide regimen in patients with thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms (T-NENs) are rare mediastinal malignancies that lack established treatment guidelines. While the Capecitabine and Temozolomide (CapTem) regimen has demonstrated significant efficacy in patients with pancreatic NENs, its applicability and effectiveness in treating T-NENs remain underexplored.

#3646 Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms – Data from the Czech Neuroendocrine Tumor Registry 2008 – 2022

Introduction: Thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms are very rare, their incidence is only 3% of all NENs a 5% of thymic tumors. On ENETS 2022 Sarah Fodil—Cherif et alt. presented data of 74 patients with thymic NETs from retrospective French study (1988-2020) and their analysis.

#3109 Trends of incidence and prognosis of thymic neuroendocrine neoplasms - A survival analysis on 320 patients

Introduction: Thymic NENs (TNENs) accounting for only 0.4% of NENs and 3.5 - 4.3% of anterior mediastinal tumors and are more aggressive than their pulmonary and abdominal counterparts. There is no ENETS guidelines for TNENs currently. Previous studies focused on treatment and outcomes were unsatisfactory.
