#2885 Ectopic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma: An Occult Source of ACTH
Introduction: About 250 cases of ectopic ACTH-producing neuroendocrine carcinoma (ACTH-NEC) have been reported; however metastatic ACTH-NEC of unknown primary is very rare. Usually are characterized by having a large cell, small cell, poorly differentiated or anaplastic cell, and Ki-67 index between 40-90%.

#2834 Tumor-Promoting Effects of the Transcriptional Regulator CUX1 in PanNET
Introduction: Previously, we identified CUX1 as mediator of metastatic behaviour and poor differentiation in human insulinomas. CUX1 mediated tumor-promoting functions via enhancing proliferation, resistance to apoptosis and angiogenesis in-vitro and in-vivo.

Introduction: Most gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI-NETs) involve the small intestine (38%) and about 50% of patients present with regional or distant metastases at time of diagnosis [2]. 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT provides improved sensitivity and specificity compared to traditional nuclear medicine techniques [4]. However, there is relatively less data comparing performance of 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT with contrast-enhanced CT (CECT).

Introduction: Patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are at risk for vitamin deficiencies and poor nutritional status due to excessive serotonin production, diarrhea, previous gastrointestinal surgery, and/or treatment with somatostatin analogues (SSA). Little knowledge exists about vitamin deficiency and how patients should be supported for the deficiencies they develop during their long-lasting disease.
