#3044 Efficacy of Alkylating Agent Re-challenge after Therapeutic Pause in Metastatic Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (PanNET)

Introduction: Temozolomide (TMZ) and dacarbazine (DTIC) are alkylating agents (ALK) with antitumor efficacy in metastatic PanNET. Rechallenging ALK following prior efficacy is commonly performed but has not been evaluated.

#3010 International Validation of a Nomogram to Predict Recurrence after Resection of Grade 1 and 2 Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: A prediction model to predict recurrence within 5 years after surgery for nonfunctional pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNets) was recently published. This model includes WHO tumor grade, lymph node status and perineural invasion as predictors.

#2986 Characterization of 142 Human Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: ATRX and DAXX Correlation with Clinical-Pathological Data

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) are rare and heterogeneous neoplasms with a 10-year survival rate less than 30%. Up to 43% of them are driven by inactivating mutations in ATRX or DAXX. These are important players at chromatin remodeling, that when mutated prone cancer cells to initiate the alternative lengthening of telomeres (ALT). ALT phenotype correlates with in situ loss of expression of the proteins ATRX or DAXX and can be corroborated by telomere-FISH.

#2975 Next Generation Sequencing of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors in Russian Cohort

Introduction: The appearance of next generation sequencing (NGS), - a powerful high-performance method, allowed accumulation of a large amount of information concerning genetic and epigenetic patterns, however, the problem of matching clinical, histological picture with genetic structure in pNETs remains open.
