Introduction: Temozolomide (TMZ) has been suggested as a treatment option for patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PNETs). The tumour response to TMZ has been linked to expression levels of O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) and components of the mismatch repair (MMR) system.

#521 Cachexia in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Comparison with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma
Introduction: Patients with pancreatic cancer (pCA) have a high propensity for cachexia even in the absence of metastases. On the other hand, patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) often maintain their weight and muscle mass for a long period of time even with liver metastases.
