Introduction: The hypermutated phenotype is used as a predictive parameter for immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICI). However, the relationship between high TMB, the underlying mutational drivers and response to ICI is still unclear.

#4031 68-Gallium DOTANOC PET/CT pitfall in adnexal tumor

Introduction: PET/CT with 68Ga-DOTA is a commonly used tool in the baseline evaluation and follow-up of NETs due to its high specificity and sensitivity, showing better performance than CT in detecting primary and metastatic disease. However, we must know more about its normal physiological distribution, its variation in pathologies, and the possibility of confusion with benign processes to optimize its interpretation.

#3567 Metastatic mixed VIPoma/PPoma-induced diarrhoea causing renal failure

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) are rare, but despite better prognosis than other pancreatic tumors, their presentation is often occult. VIPomas are a further subtype secreting vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP). Associated symptoms are particularly non-specific, with watery diarrhoea and electrolyte disturbance which mimics less sinister pathology. Consequently, this presentation is often overlooked resulting in tumor progression and delayed diagnosis, hindering effective management.

Introduction: Recent progress in the diagnosis and classification of Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs) is achieved. However, the histological morphology and immunohistochemistry of NENs overlap with other lesions, and the differential diagnosis in clinical practice faces many challenges.

#3339 Approval of a programme to perform 50 liver transplants for neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases in UK and Ireland affords significant opportunities for clinical study and research

Introduction: Liver transplantation for unresectable neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases [NET LM] remains a confusing and controversial area in managing NETs. Patients deemed most suitable for transplantation have good prognosis with standard therapy and best outcomes with transplantation are only achieved at highly experienced Centre(s).
