#4031 68-Gallium DOTANOC PET/CT pitfall in adnexal tumor

Introduction: PET/CT with 68Ga-DOTA is a commonly used tool in the baseline evaluation and follow-up of NETs due to its high specificity and sensitivity, showing better performance than CT in detecting primary and metastatic disease. However, we must know more about its normal physiological distribution, its variation in pathologies, and the possibility of confusion with benign processes to optimize its interpretation.

Introduction: Some rectal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are accidentally detected by colonoscopy screening. Due to the lack of cognition of endoscopic feature of rectal NET, endoscopic tumor resection has always done without metastasis screening.

#3946 The value of 68Ga-DOTANOC and 18F-FDG PET/CT for predicting the prognosis of patients with metastatic rectal neuroendocrine tumor

Introduction: Rectal neuroendocrine tumor (RNET) is common second only to pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor in Chinese population. Some studies demonstrated that 18F-FDG PET/CT is useful for risk stratification of GEP-NET and is even better than histologic grade to predict the prognosis.
