#3080 Impact of Multimodal Perioperative Treatment in Patients with Resected Non-Metastatic Grade 3 Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NEN G3)

Introduction: Patients with grade 3 neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN G3) have a limited prognosis. Even in a non-metastatic stage, the risk of recurrence after surgery is high. Multimodal perioperative treatment, including chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy in an adjuvant or neoadjuvant setting, has improved the prognosis in numerous tumor entities; however, it has not been systematically evaluated in NEN G3 so far. Nevertheless, perioperative chemotherapy is generally recommended in most current treatment guidelines for NEN G3.

#3058 Diagnosis and Assessment of Effectiveness of Surgical Resection of Small Bowel Neuroendocrine Tumours: The Roles of Circulating MicroRNAs

Introduction: MicroRNAs (miRNA) are small noncoding RNA molecules implicated in the pathophysiology of myriad neoplasms. Clinically useful biomarkers are needed in SB NET to ascertain disease aggressiveness, select treatment strategy, detect early recurrence and monitor response.

#3026 IMP3 and Ki-67-Factors of Poor Clinical Outcome in Neuroendocrine Tumors of the Lung

Introduction: Insulin- like growth factor-II messenger RNA- binding protein- 3 (IMP3) is often detected in malignant neoplasm of different sites. Ki-67 proliferative index, although helpful in diagnosing neuroendocrine tumours of lung, has not been recognised as prognostic factor.

#3022 Diagnostic Accuracy of 68Gallium Positron Emission Tomography (68Ga PET), Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Computed Tomography in the Assessment of Lymphnode Metastases by Nonfunctioning Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: The presence of nodal metastasis is one of the most important predictive factors for recurrence after radical surgery for nonfunctioning Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NF-PanNEN). Nevertheless, it is not clear which is the best diagnostic examination to identify preoperatively lymphnodal metastasis.

#3014 The Number of Positive Nodes Accurately Predicts Recurrence after Distal Pancreatectomy for Nonfunctioning Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: The most appropriate staging system of metastatic lymph nodes (N) for resected pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) remains unclear, especially regarding those resected by distal pancreatectomy (DP).
