#3576 Patterns of family history of cancer and associated risk of developing neuroendocrine tumors: A cross-sectional study

Introduction: Except for known hereditary syndromes (mostly, multiple endocrine neoplasia type I and von Hippel Lindau), familial clustering of cancers in patients (pts) with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) is scarcely reported.

#3113 Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of vagina - Rare, aggressive but curable?

Introduction: Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (SCNC) is a highly proliferative disease. It commonly affects lung and only 2.5-5% are extrapulmonary. SCNC of vagina is very rare with only 32 published cases in English literature.

#3074 Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma and DIPNECH: An Unexpected Association

Introduction: Medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) is a neuroendocrine tumour of the C-cells of thyroid gland. Diffuse idiopathic pulmonary neuroendocrine cells hyperplasia (DIPNECH) is a rare condition, thought to be primarily a neuroendocrine proliferative process which can develop into carcinoid tumours.
