#3375 Neuroendocrine tumors associated with ovarian teratoma – One centre experience
Introduction: Ovarian teratomas are frequent gynaecological finding in contrary to ovarian NETs which comprise only 0.1% of all ovarian neoplasms. In contrast to other gynaecological organs like cervix, endometrium vagina or vulva in which the common type of NENs is NECs, in case of ovarian carcinoid the prognosis remains good.

#3113 Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of vagina - Rare, aggressive but curable?
Introduction: Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (SCNC) is a highly proliferative disease. It commonly affects lung and only 2.5-5% are extrapulmonary. SCNC of vagina is very rare with only 32 published cases in English literature.

Introduction: We have shown immunohistochemistry (IHC) expression of estrogen (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) in 20.8% and 18.8% of 96 NET patients (pts). An old clinical trial (Mortel C, 1984) suggested antitumor effects of estrogen/progesterone-directed therapies in NET. Yet the effects of an antiestrogen agent in NET pts whose tumor express ER and/or PR are unknown.
