#4328 Health-related quality of life (HRQL) and supportive care needs (SCN) of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET) in a Swiss NET Centre

Introduction: Health-related quality of life (HRQL) and supportive care needs (SCN) of patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NET) remain understudied. Assessing and identifying the affected domains of HRQL and SCN of the patients with GEP-NET is part of the nursing practice and may contribute to adapt the nursing care.

#4093 Evaluation of the utility of group therapy as a mechanism of delivering facilitated psychosocial support to those with a neuroendocrine neoplasm diagnosis

Introduction: Anxiety, uncertainty and reduced psychosocial well-being have been reported in those with neuroendocrine neoplasms. There has been an increasing demand for facilitated psychosocial support from our UK community, that can outstrip capacity. There is evidence that group therapy can provide a cost- efficient and outcome- effective method of treatment: reducing wait times and improving accessibility. Group therapy is a term that can be applied to any kind of psychotherapy that is delivered to a group.

Addressing the diverse challenges requires a proactive multidisciplinary team and well-informed patients. The integration of mobile apps proves invaluable in maintaining comprehensive records of patients' experiences between medical appointments.

#2087 Prospective, Multi-Center, Open Label, Phase Study II of APOC, a New Controlled Release 15mg Octreotide Acetate, for the Treatment of Advanced NETs

Introduction: Somatostatin analogues (SSAs) are the cornerstone of systemic therapy of advanced NETs. The efficacy controlling hormone release and tumor growth together with the favorable toxicity profile have positioned SSAs as upfront therapy. Despite of second-line therapies including targeted agents, chemotherapy and radiolabeled peptides have demonstrated activity controlling tumor growth, the less favorable toxicity profiles become a usual discussion with patients (pts) to preserve the quality of life (QoL). Additionally, from concordant flow of evidences clinical benefits could be obtained with higher SSAs circulating levels but remain unreachable with current products. APOC is a new controlled release ready-to-use convenient therapeutic, designed to cover specifically these clinical unmet needs.
