#4496 ATRX, DAXX, and menin immunohistochemistry identify prognostic relevant non-functioning neuroendocrine tumours subgroups

Introduction: Non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (NF-pNETs) are rare tumours with a variable prognosis. Recent studies have identified prognostic subgroups based on ATRX, DAXX and MEN1 mutations along with chromosomal aneuploidies.

#4118 Adverse events after endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and fine-needle biopsy in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors: A systematic review

Introduction: Pathological analysis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) is essential for predicting tumor behaviour and patient management. Although endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) is the established practice for retrieving tissue, fine-needle biopsy (EUS-FNB) offers possibilities for additional analyses including tumor grading. This systematic review provides a comprehensive evaluation of EUS-FNA and EUS-FNB-related adverse events in pNET.

#3896 Diagnostic utility of menin immunohistochemistry in MEN1 syndrome patients

Introduction: A clinical diagnosis of Multiple Neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) syndrome is confirmed with genetic testing. It is expected that menin protein expression is lost in MEN1 related tumors.
