Clinical outcomes in patients with typical (TC) and atypical bronchial carcinoids (AC): A 15-year retrospective study from an ENETS Center of Excellence
Introduction:
Bronchial neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) can be subdivided into TCs, ACs and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). Although a few studies have explored treatment approaches and oncological outcomes, most focus on surgical cohorts, small sample sizes, or mixed groups including TC, AC, and NECs. Real-life cohort data are lacking.

The obesity paradox in patients with bronchial NENs in a single tertiary referral center in the United Kingdom
Introduction:
In patients (pts) with lung cancer, there are multiple studies demonstrating obesity is significantly associated with improved overall survival (OS), this is known as the obesity paradox. It is unknown if this paradox exists in pts with bronchial NENs.

Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Childhood and Adolescents
Introduction:
NEN are very rare tumors in children and adolescents with predominance in adolescent girls. The annual incidence is about 1.14:1 million. The most frequent localization is appendix. Bronchial NEN, even extremly rare, is the most frequent primary epithelial lung tumor in children.
