Introduction: Previously, we showed that analysing copy number alterations (CNAs) in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) of NET patients using shallow whole genome sequencing (sWGS) is a potential biomarker for diagnosis and follow-up (PMID: 34759042). We now present NET-IMPRESS, an easy, cost-effective methylation-based assay for detecting circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) in NET samples.

Introduction: Liquid biopsy, notably plasma circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), is a non-invasive approach to elucidate the tumoral genomic profile from a blood sample. Pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (PPGL) are often operated, characterized by quiet genomes and usually indolent tumor growth. However, challenges arise with metastatic tumors due to accessibility, catecholamine-related crises and surgery issues. Thus, molecular mechanisms transitioning from indolent to metastatic tumors are largely unexplored.

#4095 CAPTEM and PRRT to improve overall response for pancreatic NETs (pNETs) – The CORONET trial
Introduction: Patients with advanced pNETs have limited treatment options. The NETTER-2 and OCLURANDOM trials have established peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) as a standard treatment in pNETs; CAPTEM chemotherapy is an active regimen in NENs. The CONTROL NETs trial has shown promising response rate and progression-free survival with PRRT+CAPTEM, warranting further investigation.

#4073 Comparative targeted NGS analysis between solid and liquid biopsies in GEP-NET: A pilot study
Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) present a broad clinical variability. Genetic profile could be a striking resource to respond to prognostic and treatment purposes. Sequencing of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from liquid biopsy (LB) has been proposed as a less invasive alternative to solid biopsy (SB).
