#4422 A case report of an undifferentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma with an unknown primary site
Introduction: In the situation where the primary lesion remains unknown, high-grade poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma typically shows extensive metastasis at the time of clinical visit. Common metastatic sites include the liver, bones, lungs and brain, and the prognosis is extremely poor.

Introduction: Digestive high-grade neuroendocrine neoplasms (HG-NEN) are rare and consist of neuroendocrine tumours G3 (NET G3) and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC). They differ in clinical and molecular characteristics, response to treatment and prognosis. Limited prospective data are available on prognostic factors for survival in patients given first-line chemotherapy outside of clinical trials.
