#4350 Cytoendoscopy for determining the depth of invasion and metastasis of rectal neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Rectal neuroendocrine tumours (rNETs) are relatively common submucosal tumours, but even low-grade rNETs can metastasise. The significance of endocytology (EC) in the clinical evaluation of rNETs has not been reported.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Tang Q

Authors: Bai J, Tian Y, Tang Q,

Keywords: rectal neuroendocrine tumour, cytoendoscopy, invasion, metastasis, tumour grade,

#3581 Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) vascularization: From “micro” to “macro”

Introduction: Density of microvessels in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) changes according to their biological behaviour. Differently from other non-neuroendocrine cancers, a low microvessel density (L-MVD) is associated with higher disease aggressiveness and poorer prognosis.
