#4200 Risk of venous thromboembolism according to molecular profiling in patients with neuroendocrine carcinoma

Introduction: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common complication in cancer patients, which negatively affects prognosis. Neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) are a rare and aggressive diseases, with low responses to treatment and poor prognosis. In this context, the use of molecular profiling is crucial for the identification of druggable alterations. However, data about VTE in NENs are scares, even though retrospective data describes rates in line with other high-risk malignancies.

#3979 New insights into the progression of NET G3 with a focus of NETs with NEC-like transformation

Introduction: Despite increasing knowledge of the clinical and morphomolecular features of NETs G3, little is known about NETs showing NEC-like transformation. Recent studies reported that NETs G3 may share histological and genetic features with NECs, such as TP53 mutations.
