#4665 Prognostic value of systemic inflammatory parameters in neuroendocrine tumour patients treated with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy – Preliminary results

Introduction: PRRT (177Lu-Dotatate) is a therapeutic option for advanced NETs (neuroendocrine tumours). Systemic inflammatory parameters, such as NLR, PLR, SII, and other ratios derived from complete blood counts, are considered prognostic markers in NETs and other malignancies.

#4590 Association of SST5TMD4 and SST5TMD5 expression with metastasis and poor prognostic markers in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: The expression of the somatostatin receptor isoform SST5TMD4 is linked to poorer prognosis in somatotropinomas, as well as in breast and thyroid cancers, and it is notably overexpressed in gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (GEP-NETs).

Introduction: Paragangliomas (PGLs) are rare neuroendocrine tumours with variable clinical outcomes. Early identification of prognostic markers is essential for effective disease management. PET/CT imaging with 68Ga-DOTANOC, 18F-DOPA, and 18F-FDG offers unique insights into tumour biology, respectively.

#4227 Evaluation of circulating extracellular vesicles as suitable prognostic markers in MEN1-associated non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasia

Introduction: Non-functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasias (NF-pNENs) significantly contribute to premature death of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) patients. Reliable prognostic markers for disease progression are lacking. Circulating liquid biomarkers, including microRNAs and Long-non-Coding (LnC) RNAs in extracellular vesicles, are emerging as new prognostic tools.

#3603 Genetic tumor and blood profiling in the randomised controlled phase III COMPOSE trial comparing 177Lu-edotreotide and best standard of care for well-differentiated aggressive grade 2/3 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: COMPOSE is a randomised, controlled, open-label, Phase III trial in patients with well-differentiated aggressive G2/G3 (Ki-67 index 15−55%), somatostatin receptor positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). 177Lu-edotreotide targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) will be compared with best standard of care (CAPTEM, FOLFOX or everolimus). Therapeutic strategies for high grade GEP-NETs demonstrate variable outcomes and currently there is a lack of tools to predict TRT efficacy and disease progression. Genetic profiling analysis is proposed to address this need.
