#3927 Prognostic role and predictors of lymph node involvement in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) account for less than 2% of all pancreatic neoplasms. However, the incidence of PNETs has been steadily increasing in recent years, possibly because the frequent use of high-quality abdominal cross-sectional imaging increased the detection rate.

#3602 Predictors of lymph node involvement in patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Lymph node involvement (LNI) is an important marker of malignancy and, as such, may influence prognosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs). There are few literatures evaluating the risk factors of LNI, especially in combination with preoperative imaging.

#3506 Different patterns of recurrence after liver resection and transplantation for metastatic neuroendocrine tumors. Single center ecperience

Introduction: Liver metastases (NELM) occur in nearly half of NET pts, 80%are unresectable, and affect their prognosis. Surgery remains the most effective option; curative liver resection (LR) and liver transplantation (LT) offer the best long-term outcomes with difficult to show outcome differences due to the long course of the disease. The risk of tumor recurrence is considerable after both approaches.

#3401 Characterising aggressive pulmonary carcinoids through integrative omics analysis

Introduction: Atypical carcinoids, and our recently identified supra-carcinoids (Alcala et al. 2019) belong to the pulmonary carcinoid (PCA) group of low grade lung neuroendocrine tumors. Little is known about the underlying biology of these tumors, nor why some patients are prone to metastatic disease and tumor recurrence. To date, molecular analysis of these tumors has been limited, particularly with regard to whole-genome sequencing (WGS).

#2961 Our Experience Using a New Scoring System to Detect Disease Recurrence after Curative Surgical Resection of Well-Differentiated Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: For patients with nonfunctioning pNET  ≥20 mm in size without distant metastasis, complete surgical resection is recommended as the primary curative strategy. Effective follow‐up programs are designed to detect recurrence at an early stage, given that treatment of limited disease has the most favorable outcome. However, data on post‐curative surgical recurrence remains limited, making it challenging to determine the best follow‐up strategy and to detect the best treatment options as an adjuvant therapy for selected patients.
