Introduction: Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) is an effective and well tolerated treatment for advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET). However, some Persistent Thrombocytopenia (PT) are described and may compromise further therapies and outcome.

Introduction: A mixed neuroendocrine-non neuroendocrine neoplasm (MiNEN) is a novel defined rare entity, made up of two morphologically distinct neoplastic components; one neuroendocrine type (NEN), and the other one non-neuroendocrine type (nNEN). Neuroendocrine differentiation of tumors is thought to influence the tumor microenvironment (TME) through the secretion of various hormones or growth factors.

#498 Limitations of Chromogranin A in Clinical Practice

Introduction: Chromogranin-A (CgA) is the most accurate marker for the histological diagnosis of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). However diagnostic usefulness of circulating CgA is controversial as several conditions, both neoplastic and non-neoplastic, may induce false positive increases of this marker.
