#3438 Risk factors for complications after surgery for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors
Introduction: Surgical resection is the only potentially curative treatment for pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs). The choice for the type of procedure is influenced by the expected oncological benefit and the anticipated risk of procedure-specific complications.

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) represent a rare and heterogeneous tumor entity. Despite advances in therapy cancer progression and resistance mechanisms are still challenging. Recent genome wide sequencing analyses in PanNETs identified a large number of mutated genes involved in epigenetic modulation.
