Introduction: Previously, we showed that analysing copy number alterations (CNAs) in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) of NET patients using shallow whole genome sequencing (sWGS) is a potential biomarker for diagnosis and follow-up (PMID: 34759042). We now present NET-IMPRESS, an easy, cost-effective methylation-based assay for detecting circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) in NET samples.

Introduction: Primary resection is treatment of choice of pulmonary carcinoids (PC) and recurrences occur ~7% of TC and ~35% of atypical carcinoid (AC). Because of a risk of late recurrence, even in TC, long-term radiological FU is generally advised. As PC are frequent in relatively young pts, there is a risk of late radiation-induced cancer.

#3285 Somatostatin-receptor scintigraphy in an uncommon neuroendocrine tumor
Introduction: Primary mesenteric neuroendocrine tumors (MNETs) have been rarely reported in the literature and especially their exploration with the somatostatin receptor scintigraphy (SRS) imaging which is a valuable tool for diagnostic, staging and follow-up.

Introduction: Trans-arterial radioembolization (TARE) is a treatment option for patients with liver dominant metastases from neuroendocrine tumors (mNET). The CIRSE Registry for SIR-Spheres Therapy (CIRT) is a European prospective multi-centre observational study conducted by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).
