#3058 Diagnosis and Assessment of Effectiveness of Surgical Resection of Small Bowel Neuroendocrine Tumours: The Roles of Circulating MicroRNAs

Introduction: MicroRNAs (miRNA) are small noncoding RNA molecules implicated in the pathophysiology of myriad neoplasms. Clinically useful biomarkers are needed in SB NET to ascertain disease aggressiveness, select treatment strategy, detect early recurrence and monitor response.

#2958 The Blood-based Multigenomic NETest Accurately Identifies Neuroendocrine Transformed Prostate Cancer

Introduction: Neuroendocrine differentiation and an aggressive phenotype is an important feature of castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Current biomarkers are unable to detect these advanced, treatment refractory variants.

#2836 Prospective Evaluation of the NETest as a Liquid Biopsy for Gastroenteropancreatic and Bronchopulmonary Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: ENETS Center of Excellence Experience

Introduction: There is a substantial clinical unmet need for an accurate blood biomarker for neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs).

#2256 Assessment of the Serum Levels of the Soluble Vascular Cellular Adhesion Molecule-1 (sVCAM-1) in Patients with Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

Introduction: Tumor growth and the ability to metastasize is a multistage process involving interactions between cancer cells and the vascular endothelium. These interactions have been reported to be mediated by various molecules including sVCAM-1. We have previously shown elevated serum concentration of sVCAM-1 in 82 neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) compared to controls. Here, we present results of the extension of the previous study.

#1815 MicroRNAs Associated with Small Bowel Neuroendocrine Tumours and Their Metastases

Introduction: Novel molecular analytes are needed in small bowel NETs (SBNETs) to better determine disease aggressiveness and predict treatment response.
