#4473 Somatostatin analogue delayed the recrudescence of stomach NET: A real-world study
Introduction: Type 1 gastric NENs (g-NENs) are common and relapse easily. Somstostatin analogues (SSAs) can inhibit gastrin secretion and cell proliferation. While the usage of SSAs in g-NENs is still controversial.

Introduction: Type III gastric neuroendocrine tumours (gNETs) are rare indolent tumours with increasing incidence. Endoscopic resection has recently been described to be a safe strategy to remove small, localised type III gNETs.

#4441 Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms in younger patients: A retrospective single-centre study
Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (gNENs) are rare neoplasms arising from stomach enterochromaffin-like (ECL) cells. Type I gNENs are the most common type, typically indolent and arising in the context of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG). While type I gNENs are generally diagnosed in pts over 50, their occurrence in younger pts raises concern about the onset of CAG-related complications at an earlier age, potentially affecting tumour growth and clinical outcomes. Young-oriented studies on type I gNETs are still lacking in literature.

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumours are most common in the stomach and pancreas. With the Ki-67 positive index of NET G3 and NEC both above 20%, there is a view that NET G3 will not evolve into NEC.

Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are rare neoplasms that arise from enterochromaffin cells of the gastric mucosa. Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) of the stomach represent a rare and rapidly growing type of gastric tumour. They are considered a distinct entity from neuroendocrine tumours characterised by aggressive behaviour and a high rate of metastasis.
