#4251 Upfront Oxaliplatin–Fluoropyrimidine chemotherapy and Somatostatin Analogues (SSA) in advanced well-differentiated G2/G3 gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs)

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are frequently diagnosed at advanced stage. For well-differentiated somatostatin receptor-positive (SSTR +) NETs, somatostatin analogues (SSAs) are the preferred first-line therapy. However, in patients (pts) with G2/G3 and a high tumor burden, SSA alone might not be enough.

Introduction: 177Lu-PRRT became an established therapeutic modality in inoperable or metastatic NETs, demonstrating substantial survival benefits and reassuring safety profile. Dosimetry of Organs-At-Risk [OAR, kidneys, bone marrow (BM) and spleen] and malignant lesions ensures to further optimize its safety and efficacy.

#3433 Role of [18 F]FDG PET/CT in the management of G1 gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) neuroendocrine neoplasia (NET) is a heterogeneous disease. While 68-Ga PET is considered the gold standard in GEP-NETs, the role of [18F]FDG PET/CT is not well established, particularly in well-differentiated G1 NETs.

#3034 Somatostatin Analogs for Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: Is There Any Benefit When Ki-67 Is ≥ 10%?

Introduction: The antiproliferative effect of first-line long acting somatostatin analogs (SSA) in advanced gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) was shown in the PROMID and the CLARINET trials. Efficacy data in pancreatic NETs (PanNETs) with Ki-67 ≥ 10% are limited.
