#3863 Survival and prognostic factors in appendiceal neuroendocrine tumors (ANET) and goblet cell carcinoma (aGCC)

Introduction: Appendiceal goblet cell carcinomas (aGCC) present with overlapping features of appendiceal neuroendocrine neoplasms (ANET) and adenocarcinomas. A previous study found that ANET with peritoneal metastases have a 5-year survival rate of 7%. Recent studies show that ANET rarely metastasizes, contrary to aGCC. The latest WHO classification excluded aGCC from the group of NETs and classified it as appendiceal adenocarcinomas.

#3788 Patient initiated follow-up for surgically resected neuroendocrine tumor patients using a digital system – My Medical Record

Introduction: Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU) is well established in this regional cancer centre, it allows patients to contact a cancer specialist team based on symptoms and individual circumstances. Patients are empowered to manage follow-up remotely, undertaking cancer surveillance tests and accessing results through the digital system MyMedicalRecord (MyMR).

#3580 Sex differences in survival of neuroendocrine neoplasia in England 1995–2018

Introduction: Sex differences have been noted at different sites of Neuroendocrine Neoplasia in some registry studies internationally. Analysis of England's National Cancer Registry and Analysis Service (NCRAS) data can help to clarify the significance and importance of this.

#3544 Incidence, prevalence and survival of neuroendocrine neoplasia 1995–2018

Introduction: Incidence of neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN) is rising worldwide. England's National Cancer Registry and Analysis Service (NCRAS) records more than 99.5% of tumors. Recent improvements to the registry allow NEN to be analysed with greater accuracy.

Introduction: Tumor molecular profiling has proven relevant for the clinical management of cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) may be a useful surrogate of tumor tissue when this is insufficient for analysis.
