#3770 Molecular imaging, molecular profiling and outcomes in patients with transformation to grade 3 neuroendocrine neoplasia (NEN)

Introduction: Transformation of Grade (G) 1-2 to G3 NEN has prognostic & therapeutic implications, but its mechanisms are unclear.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Kong G

Authors: Kong G, Prall O, Flynn A, Tothill R, Hatzimihalis A,

Keywords: G3, transformation, IHC, genomic sequencing, FDG PET/CT, P53, Rb1, mutations,

#3443 Prospective phase II trial of prognostication by 68Ga-NOTA-AE105 uPAR PET in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms: Implications for uPAR targeted therapy

Introduction: Non-invasive tools to improve prognostication are warranted in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN). Expression of urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) is present in many cancer types and associated with a poor outcome, but largely unknown in NEN. uPAR-targeted radionuclide therapy has proven effective in preclinical models and uPAR may be a potential target in NEN patients.

#3432 Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP)-directed molecular imaging segregates between subtypes of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine neoplasms

Introduction: Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is overexpressed in highly aggressive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN).

#3161 Phase 1 trial of PARP inhibitor combined with 177Lu-DOTA-Octreotate Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) in patients with metastatic neuroendocrine tumor - PARLuNET

Introduction: 177Lu-DOTA-Octreotate (177Lu-DOTATATE) is an effective treatment for patients with grade 1 and 2 NET. However, strategies are required to optimize treatment efficacy and outcomes. Combining a DNA-repair modifying agent could further enhance radiation efficacy. Pre-clinical data supports that a PARP inhibitor (PARPi) combined with PRRT significantly enhances NET cell death and animal survival compared to 177Lu-DOTATATE alone. This combination strategy aims to enhance radiation efficacy from PRRT.
