#4226 Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors – Epidemiological profile and surgical aspects
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NET) are rare tumors, with an incidence of less than 0.5 cases per 100,000 people, PTNE represents 5% of pancreatic tumors, surgical treatment has a central place because it is the only treatment potentially curative if the resection is complete.

#3877 Short fasting test as a reliable and effective tool to diagnose insulinoma
Introduction: Insulinomas are pancreatic NETs presenting with hypoglycaemia. Current guidelines for its diagnosis require a prolonged fasting test (72 hours), which implies hospitalization and is difficult to perform. It has been reported that up to 85% of insulinomas are diagnosed within a 24h fasting period.

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) represent only 6% of pancreatic tumors, compared to 93% for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Textbook outcome (TO) is a composite outcome measure that reflects a hospital’s surgical performance as well as quality of current practice.
