#4054 Predictive factors of persistent thrombocytopenia after 177Lu-DOTATATE in patients with neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) is an effective and well tolerated treatment for advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET). However, some Persistent Thrombocytopenia (PT) are described and may compromise further therapies and outcome.

Authors: Oziel-Taieb S, Ferrara R, Charrier N, Maniry J, Reichert T,

Keywords: Neuroendocrine Tumor, PRRT, LuDOTATATE, Thrombocytopenia, Bone metastases, spleen,

#4045 Radio-guided surgery with a new generation β-probe for radiolabelled somatostatin analogue, in patients with small intestinal neuroendocrine tumors – A Phase II surgical trial

Introduction: Radio-guided surgery (RGS) proved to be promising in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Previous studies showed high sensitivity but low specificity using gamma probes to detect radiation emitted by radio-labelled somatostatin analogues.

Keywords: Radio-guided surgery, small-intestinal neuroendocrine tumor, small-intestinal resection, beta-probe, radiolabelled somatostatine analogues, surgery, lymphadenectomy,

#3843 VIPoma presenting as chronic diarrhea in a 30-year-old Filipino female

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors are rare neoplasms that arise in the endocrine tissues of the pancreas. They can secrete a variety of peptide hormones including insulin, gastrin, glucagon, and vasoactive intestinal peptide. Secretory tumors such as vasoactive intestinal polypeptides are rare neuroendocrine pancreatic neoplasms characterized by watery diarrhea, hypokalemia, and hypochlorhydria.

#3685 Somatostatin receptor imaging with difference positive rate of mice

Introduction: Majority of neuroendocrine neoplasms express SSTR2, and the pathological results of a single lesion cannot accurately reflect the expression of SSTR2 in other lesions because of heterogeneity.

#3634 Imaging surveillance in multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 – 10 years of experience with somatostatin receptor positron emission tomography

Introduction: Guidelines for multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) recommend intensive imaging surveillance without specifying a superior regimen, including the role of somatostatin receptor imaging (SRI) with positron emission tomography (PET).
