#4535 Survival and toxicity outcomes of somatostatin analogues vs. other systemic therapies as first-line palliative treatment for patients with extrapulmonary G2 well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumours with a Ki-67 index between 10% and 20%

Introduction: In patients (pts) with an advanced well-differentiated (WD-NET) with a Ki-67>10% and ≤20% (“G2 high”), chemotherapy (ChT) or targeted therapies are the preferred first-line palliative options. Somatostatin analogues (SSAs) may offer an alternative, yet randomised evidence is lacking.

Introduction: Lutetium Peptide Receptor Radio Nuclide Therapy (Lu-PRRT) is an effective treatment for progressive, metastatic, somatostatin-receptor-positive, well-differentiated Neuroendocrine Tumors (WD-NETs). It is generally well tolerated.

#2248 High Grade (G3) Gastro-Entero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Should the New WHO Classification Apply to All?

Introduction: Grade 3 (G3) neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN), arising from the gastro-entero-pancreatic system (GEP), are classified according to WHO 2010 and defined as having a Ki67 of > 20%. However this groups together G3 well differentiated neuroendocrine tumours (WD-NET) with poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (PD-NEC). Recently, WHO have proposed a new classification for pancreatic NEN, with sub-division into G3 WD-NET and G3 PD-NEC
