Introduction: The pathogenesis of mesenteric fibrosis in small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours (SI-NETs) is poorly understood, limiting development of effective treatments and biomarkers. A major barrier to research is the lack of disease models.

#4146 Anticancer activity of Cabozantinib and Temozolomide in cell lines derived from lung carcinoid and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors

Introduction: Limited therapeutic options are available for patients with advanced neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs). Cabozantinib (CBZ), a tyrosine kinase inhibitor including c-MET pathway, and Temozolomide (TMZ), an alkylating agent enhancing the anti-angiogenic effect of CBZ, are emerging as promising treatments in NENs.

#3367 Integrating Saffron’s Metabolomics on Neuroblastoma Treatment

Introduction: Crocus sativus (saffron) is endowed with anticancer, antioxidant and genoprotective properties. Its pharmacological properties are attributed to the hydrophilic carotenoids crocins (CRCs), which are glycosy-esters of crocetin (CRT). The hemisynthetic derivate dimethylcrocetin (DMCRT) is similar to CRT.
