#4070 Ordinary colorectal cancers expressing synaptophysin: Myth or reality?
Introduction: Despite the neuroendocrine differentiation in CRCs has been extensively assessed, currently there are no established criteria for inclusion for this designation.

Keywords: neuroendocrine, MANEC, synapthophysin,
Introduction: Extrapulmonary (EP) poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) and mixed adeno-neuroendocrine carcinomas (MANECs) are aggressive neoplasms with dismal prognosis.

#3129 Colorectal NECs and MANECs: A monocenter pilot retrospective analysis
Introduction: Poorly-differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) and mixed adeno-neuroendocrine carcinomas (MANECs) are rare and aggressive neoplasms whose tumorigenesis pathways are still unknown and clinical management not universally shared.
Conference: 18th Annual ENETS Concerence (2021)
Presenting Author:

Keywords: mutational, genetic, neuroendocrine, NEC, MANEC, carcinogenesis, colorectal,
Introduction: Gastric mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinomas (g-MANECs) are rare neoplasms consisting of adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine neoplastic components. G-MANECs show more malignant characteristics than gastric adenocarcinomas, while molecular mechanisms underlying the co-existence of the two components remains unknown.

Introduction: Knowledge of MANECs is limited
