#4592 Uncovering cell-state heterogeneity in large-cell panNEC indicates potentially targetable aberrant brain type neuronal de-differentiation

Introduction: Classification and treatment of high-grade pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma (panNEC), particularly those with large-cell morphology, present significant clinical challenges due to considerable inter- and intra-patient tumour heterogeneity.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Debnath O

Authors: Debnath O, Berger H, Detjen K, Kirchner P, Marinoni I,

Keywords: pancreatic neuroendocrine carcinoma, single cell, personalised medicine,

#4563 Clinical case of a young woman with acromegaly, hyperprolactinemia and pituitary tumour with mixed morphology of adenoma and gangliocytoma

Introduction: Acromegaly is a rare disorder that develops due to persistent hypersecretion of somatotropic hormone in adults after closure of the growth plates. In the majority of cases, the cause is a pituitary adenoma.

Conference:

Authors: Markova M, Kirova I, Elenkova A, Robeva R, Zacharieva S,

Keywords: acromegaly, hyperprolactinemia, pituitary adenoma, gangliocytoma,

#4462 Clustering of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP-NEN) using machine learning (ML) and comparison with tumour, node, metastasis (TNM) staging: A population-based study using surveillance, epidemiology, and end results (SEER)

Introduction: TNM 8 is the staging system for GEP-NEN, guiding prognosis and treatment. However, it does not include important prognostic factors such as age, sex, race, and morphology.

Keywords: Clustering, Machine learning, GEP-NEN, TNM Staging, Survival Analysis, SEER,

#4455 Multicentric ENETS morphological and molecular appraisal of high-grade gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (HG-GEP-NEN): Distinguishing NET G3 from NEC

Introduction: HG-GEP-NEN are classified into neuroendocrine tumours grade 3 (NET G3) and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC). This distinction is crucial as it affects patient prognosis and treatments but can be challenging.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Tihy M

Authors: Tihy M, Solstad O, Oudijk L, Bräutigam K, Bani M,

Keywords: HG-GEP-NEN, neuroendocrine neoplasm, NEC, NET G3, Classification, Review, criteria, diagnosis, pathology,

#4406 Fluorescence labelled plasma derived small extracellular vesicle as biomarkers in metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour patients

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNET) are rare with increased annual incidence rate 1/lac. There are no specific biomarkers, diagnostic and prognostic tests available for PanNET. The small extracellular vesicles (sEV) play a key role in tumour growth and metastasis and can be a potential biomarker for metastasis of PanNET.
