#4537 The usefulness of circulating fibrosis markers in detection of carcinoid heart disease

Introduction: Carcinoid heart disease (CHD) is a potential serious fibrotic complication in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), affecting the heart valves. Early detection is crucial to avoid severe manifestations. NT-proBNP is suggested as an initial screening tool in detection of CHD; however, the value of NT-proBNP as a screening tool is questionable.

#3552 Fatigue and quality of life in patients with neuroendocrine neoplasia

Introduction: Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NEN) are rare tumors and health related quality of life (HRQoL) may be modulated by the disease and the accompanying carcinoid syndrome seen especially in small intestinal NENs. Further, cancer related fatigue is one of the most common side effects of cancer and its treatments and may persist for years after treatment completion.

#3545 Virchow's node metastasis from small intestinal neuroendocrine neoplasms: A bi-center cohort study

Introduction: Small Intestinal Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (SI-NENs) may rarely metastasize to the left supraclavicular lymph nodes, also known as Virchow’s node metastasis (VM).

#1660 The Clinicopathological Characteristics of Small Intestinal Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: A Multicenter Retrospective Study from China

Introduction: Small intestinal NEN (SI-NEN) is much rarer in Asian countries. Hence, the clinicopathological characteristics of SI-NEN are still unknown in Asian population.
