#4257 Tolerability and outcomes of neuroendocrine tumors treated with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy and stereotactic body radiation therapy

Introduction: The addition of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) to patients treated with PRRT may provide synergistic benefit by targeting specific sites of disease that represent areas of tumor heterogeneity. Little is known regarding the efficacy or potential toxicity of this approach. A retrospective review of patients with NEN treated with sequential PRRT and SBRT was performed to provide preliminary outcome and toxicity data to inform further combined treatment strategies.

#4218 Primary hepatic neuroendocrine tumor in a series of 8 cases

Introduction: Primary neuroendocrine (NET) tumors of the liver are extremely rare, accounting for 0.3% of all NETs; unlike metastatic neuroendocrine tumors, rarely cause carcinoid syndrome. Edmonson reported the first case in 1958. Since then, fewer than 150 cases have been reported in the literature. Before making the diagnosis of primary hepatic neuroendocrine tumor it is imperative to explore the patients, several radiological investigations can help to pinpoint the primary which is most often digestive.

#4119 Interim analysis of LANTana: Phase Ib study investigating up-regulation of somatostatin receptor-2 (SSTR2) with the de-methylating agent ASTX727 to allow [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE in metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs)

Introduction: To be suitable for [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE, SSTR2 must be present on tumor surface as per positive uptake on [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-TATE-PET/CT. SSTR2 promoter methylation reduces SSTR2 expression; this can be reversed using a demethylating agent.

#4027 Prognostic impact of molecular signatures in pancreatic metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (PRODETEN)

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNENs) are an heterogenous group of tumors. This heterogeneity is not explained by the main known prognostic factors (extension, evolution slope and Ki67 index). New molecular biomarkers (ARX, ATRX, DAXX, menin, PDX1) seem promising in non-metastatic PNENs.

#3954 Comparison of transarterial embolisation (TAE) or chemoembolisation (TACE) using streptozotocin (STZ) and biomarker study in patients with metastatic neuroendocrine tumors (NET)

Introduction: We compared TACE and TAE in patients with pancreatic (pNET) or small-intestine NET (siNET) and explored the role of biomarkers related to alkylating agents (O6-methylguanine-methyltransferase [MGMT], alkylpurine–DNA–N-glycosylase [APNG]) or hypoxia (Carbonic anhydrase IX [CAIX]).
