#4617 Analysis of new immunohistochemical biomarkers in a cohort of pancreatic NETs
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PanNETs) are rare diseases with a 10-year survival rate of only 40-50%. The ATRX, DAXX and ARX, PDX1 expressions in PanNETs were considered poor prognostic factors in some studies, but inconsistent in others.

#4172 Hormonally characterised NF-PanNETs and their clinicopathological features
Introduction: PanNETs show pronounced hormonal heterogeneity. The expression of certain hormones may associate with functional syndromes, but also with histological and genetic features. However, detailed studies of hormonal patterns in PanNETs correlated to morphological and clinical data are lacking.

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNENs) are an heterogenous group of tumors. This heterogeneity is not explained by the main known prognostic factors (extension, evolution slope and Ki67 index). New molecular biomarkers (ARX, ATRX, DAXX, menin, PDX1) seem promising in non-metastatic PNENs.

Introduction: Estimating prognosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (PNET) patients remains challenging. Mutation status of DAXX/ATRX/MEN1, histone modification patterns and immunohistochemistry for relevant transcription factors, including PDX1, were recently used to perform subtyping and distinguished two main types, A and B. These subtypes are linked to cell-of-origin and associated with clinical outcome.

#171 Transcription Factor Signature in Pancreatic and Duodenal Neuroendocrine Neoplasms
Introduction: We recently identified ISL1 as a marker for pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (P-NENs). ISL1 as well as PDX1, CDX2 and NGN3 are transcription factors (TF) involved in pancreato-duodenal development.
