Introduction: HG-GEP-NEN are classified into neuroendocrine tumours grade 3 (NET G3) and neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC). This distinction is crucial as it affects patient prognosis and treatments but can be challenging.

Introduction: DLL3 is expressed on several cancers including epNECs. BI 764532 is a DLL3/CD3 IgG-like T-cell engager. NCT04429087 is a Phase I trial of BI 764532 in pts with locally advanced/metastatic DLL3+ small-cell lung cancer, epNEC or large-cell neuroendocrine lung carcinoma. Here we focus on pts with epNEC.

Introduction: Transformation of Grade (G) 1-2 to G3 NEN has prognostic & therapeutic implications, but its mechanisms are unclear.

Introduction: WHO classification defines lung carcinoid tumors (LCTs) as well-differentiated neuroendocrine neoplasms classified in typical (TC) and atypical carcinoids (AC). Morphologic factors and protein expression able to predict recurrence after surgical curative resection are little known. Ki-67 and spindle cell and oncocytic histological variants may impact on differential diagnosis, but their clinical relevance is much debated.

Introduction: Genomic sequencing of 40 tumors samples from patients diagnosed with NET GI was performed. Further, according to the results obtained, the survival rates of patients were evaluated.
